Our story
Built for production.
Engineered as a future-proof platform.
COLOURizd isn’t a refinement of wet processing. It’s a precision delivery system for colour and chemistry — designed at industrial scale from day one, on a mill floor, by founders who knew the answer had to work where the problem lives.

Track record
We didn’t start in a lab. We started on the production floor — supplying real brands.
COLOURizd did not begin as a technology company. For years, it was a yarn and fabric business — running QuantumCOLOUR™ commercially and supplying finished product to real brands. Not pilots. Not controlled trials. Programmes that went into brand supply chains and stayed there, season after season.
The machine had already proved itself on a production floor, at volume, against brand standards — before COLOURizd ever became a technology company. It had a production history long before it had a product pitch. In an industry where new technologies have often promised more than they delivered, that distinction matters.
In 2023, COLOURizd made a deliberate shift — from yarn and fabric supplier to technology company. Selling the machine to mills that needed it was the only way to have impact at the scale the technology deserved.
The founding team
Three careers. One gap in the industry none of us could stop seeing.
Jennifer Thompson, Anthony Lau, and Allen Thompson each spent decades inside the textile industry — not studying it, working in it. Mills. Machinery. Product development and retail standards. Between the three of them, they'd sat in just about every seat at the table.
That matters, because QuantumCOLOUR™ wasn't designed in a vacuum. It was built by people who already knew what this industry would demand of it. It has been running at commercial production since 2018.
Anthony Lau
Chief Technical Officer & Co-Founder | CEO, COLOURizd HK
Anthony Lau has spent his career developing first-to-market technologies and processes in the global textile industry — QuantumCOLOUR™ is his latest, not his first. He has been a supplier of home textiles and apparel fabrics to major global retailers and brands for decades, giving him a supply chain perspective that runs from the production floor to the retail shelf.
As a mill owner himself, he understands what a production machine actually has to deliver. Not in theory — in practice. It has to run reliably, produce a consistent product, and not become a liability the moment something goes wrong. He built QuantumCOLOUR™ to that standard because he was building it for himself first.

Jennifer Thompson
CEO, COLOURizd LLC & Co-Founder
As CEO of COLOURizd LLC, Jennifer leads business development, commercial strategy, and investor relations. She is the primary commercial face of the company — opening doors with mills, brands, and capital partners across the global textile industry, and making the case for a technology that fundamentally changes how colour is achieved at production scale.
Before COLOURizd, she served as Director of Textile Design at Target Corporation — leading creative and product development teams and running programmes at major retail scale. She came to that role with an unusual foundation: she began her career in textile technology, working for a CAD/CAM company that put her inside virtually every major textile mill in America — not just installing software, but helping mills rebuild their design and production processes around emerging technology. From there she built and ran her own textile design firm, creating fabrics for brands across the industry. She has been working at the intersection of textile manufacturing and retail since 1990.
What has distinguished her throughout is the ability to hold technical, design, and commercial thinking simultaneously. She came up understanding how textile processes work — not as a spectator, but as someone rebuilding them. That technical foundation has always been in service of the same question: does it look right, and will it sell? Those two things are not in tension. Getting both right at the same time is the job.
Allen Thompson
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder
Allen Thompson spent years as a sales engineer at Stäubli Corporation — the Swiss manufacturer of industrial weaving systems and one of the most respected capital equipment companies in global textiles. He understands capital equipment sales from the inside: the concerns mills have when evaluating a significant purchase, the due diligence process, the questions that have to be answered before a commitment is made. He has had those conversations on the other side of the table.
He also spent years at Target Corporation developing textile standards — the specifications that govern what any product coming off a production machine must meet to reach a global retailer's floor. He has, in other words, written the standards that his own technology now has to meet. He started his career in US textile mills. That combination of mill floor, machinery company, and brand standards does not exist in most technology teams.

COLOURizd was built by people who wouldn’t accept a technology that couldn’t survive a production floor. We still hold it to that standard.
QuantumCOLOUR™ has been running at commercial scale since 2018 — not in controlled conditions, but a real mills, on real production timelines, producing real product.
If you’re evaluating this technology, we expect you to ask hard questions. We built it so we could answer them.
